Welcome to Windy Acres Toy and Miniature Schnauzers!! We are Gloria
and Darrell Hicks. Our home is located on almost two acres in rural
Taylorsville, Maryland. We have been living with and raising miniature
schnauzers since 2007. Although we have bred and raised other breeds
over the years, the schnauzer has taken the number one spot in our
hearts! They are shed-free, intelligent, loyal, inquisitive and friendly.
Schnauzers are happy in an apartment environment, on a farm with lots of
acres, or somewhere in between, as long as they can be with their human
family. Beware though; schnauzers can be addictive! Like potato chips, you
may decide you need more than one!
All of our dogs are members of our family; raised inside our home with full
run of our house. We give each of our puppies individual attention as well
as group playtime every day. Our grandchildren help to make them
kid-friendly as well! All puppies will have their tails cropped and dew claws
removed. EARS ARE LEFT NATURAL!! They will come to you pre-spoiled,
healthy, and well socialized. If you see an upcoming litter you are
interested in just drop me an email. It does not cost anything to be put on
our call-back list. If you see an available puppy that you would like to add
to your family, we will hold your puppy with a $100 deposit, which is
completely refundable up until the puppy is 7 weeks of age. Please read
